Mark your calendars for April 18!! It’s a Wednesday nite stating at 4:30 until 7:00pm. This is one of my favorite events. It’s free and you will make new friends. Every year the Boys and Girls does a kids nite out. This event is held at the Donald W. Reynolds Facility, which is on 2680 East Ninth Street, Reno.
What is this event? This event is held for the kids of the Boys and Girls Club. It’s give the kids to be kids. When you volunteer at this event, you will get three to four kids to take around to play games, watch circus acts, petting zoo, bounce houses and many other fun actives.
This is such a great opportunity to give back and it doesn’t cost anything, just 3 hours of your time. After doing this, I have felt so honor to hang out with these kids. These kids appreciate the time that you spend with them. They are so happy to make new friends and to have fun.
Boys & Girls Club Week
Join in on the festivities and celebrate National Boys & Girls Club Week with the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows and thousands of other Clubs across the nation April 16-21, 2012. The week is free to all Club members and packed with fun-filled, themed events each day, highlighted by Wednesday’s “Boys & Girls Nite Out,” a carnival atmosphere at the Donald W. Reynolds facility at 2680 E. Ninth Street in Reno, where hundreds of kids are paired with adult volunteers from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
