University of Nevada Young Alumni 19th Annual Beer Fest

 University of Nevada Young Alumni Annual Beer Fest is right around the corner.  It’s this Friday night at the Downtown Reno Ball room at 7pm.  This is their nineteenth year of doing this event which all the money raised goes to undergraduate scholarships.

 This is a great way to be a part of your Alumni and if you haven’t joined the Young Alumni this is your chance to check it and see what they have to offer.  This is a wonderful chapter to be a part of.  They do fun events all the time.

 Come down on Friday night and join some of your Alumni and raise money for our future Young Alumni.  The silence audience has tons to bid on.  Last year silence audience had different basket themes. 

 “Join us for the 19th annual Nevada Young Alumni Beer Fest! Entry includes a commemorative glass*, entertainment by DJ Chris Payne and as much beer as you can drink from our many vendors!

 Tickets are available now for $25 online or for $35 at the door.

 The Young Alumni put on this event in order to raise money for scholarships for undergraduates at the University of Nevada, Reno. In 2011, we were able to award $12,000 in scholarships.

 This year’s vendors include: BJ’s Brewhouse, Lagunitas, New West Distributing, Ole Bridge-Pub, PJ’s, Rail City Alehouse, Southern Wine and Spirits, Wirtz Distribution, St. James Infirmary, Great Basin Brewery, Ceol, Morrey, Sierra Gold and more.

 The Young Alumni Chapter is a sub-chapter of the Alumni Association and is open to all University of Nevada, Reno alumni who have graduated in the past 10 years. Our chapter offers members the opportunity to network with peers at social engagements and University events, while giving back to the University through scholarships and community service.”
