Every year JP Pinocchio has been here to make sure this run goes off without a hitch. It all started back in May 2000. They started it to help local women living with cancer. It was Pinocchio and the whole Northern Nevada community that has made this run a success.
Every year this run is getting bigger and bigger. More and more people are coming out to support this great cause. I know this year, different groups of my friends all got together and formed team with theme.
People of Northern Nevada are very creative when it comes to themes for their teams. My friend Julie Merica her teams theme was “Party People, celebration love, celebrating life.” Of course it was pink with black writing. This is great way to give back and have some fun with your friends. Next May make sure you and your team will be there to run!!

Moms On The Run is a non-profit organization created by hard working, caring people of this community. We are here to assist local cancer patients during their treatment when it is at times very difficult to keep rent paid, buy groceries and pay for other living expenses.
